124. The licence plate of a passenger vehicle, a vehicle engaged in the transportation of schoolchildren, a truck or a commercial vehicle whose use does not require a permit from the Commission des transports du Québec, a tow truck, a motor home or of special mobile equipment, where such vehicles are used in a locality not linked to the Québec highway system, with the exception of trailers, buses, minibuses, road vehicles whose owner holds a permit from the Commission des transports du Québec and of road vehicles covered by sections 137 and 139, shall bear the prefix “C”.
